At the retreat last month during one of the large group exercises, people were sharing deeply personal stories about their lives. The whole room was vibrating as we sat and listened. I could feel it all over my body. I was shivering. The entire energy field was alive.
As I was scanning the room my eyes landed on Esho. Her head whipped around and we locked eyes. It was a powerful and surreal moment that I’ll never forget.
Later that day I approached her to ask about it.
“It’s just energy” she said. “Like a fish moving through water”.
What a beautiful way to put it.
What else is there here but energy? I can’t really describe it any better way. No word can actually pin this down.
To really know this one must experience it. In my case, it has taken a considerable amount of shadow work to actually feel the simplicity of just energy flowing. To recognize that all appearances are just energy in motion has made sense for years, but to actually feel it directly, in real time, right now, has taken a lot of falling way. To put it simply, this nervous system has been far too dysregulated to feel so directly.
There are no actual things in the world. Instead, “the world” is simply energy moving and flowing and changing. It appears to take form and become things but by the time any form is seen, cataloged, and named, the appearance has already changed and what was named is no more. It’s gone forever. What is now is new again and again. Ever present freshness.
As things continue to deconstruct, this is becoming more of a realized global view. Just energy flowing, changing, moving, and vibrating.
